A downloadable Unreal Engine Plugin

Product Details:

After getting tired of needing to remake these for pretty much every Unreal project I work on, here's an open source downloadable that provides an out-of-the-box solution for developers to create and manage AudioSplines in Unreal Engine.

AudioSplines enable precise and dynamic audio spatialization by positioning and moving audio sources along predefined spline/bezier paths. This enhances the realism and immersion of the game environment as we can have the Audio Component position itself to the nearest player position, while staying within our own defined constraints (say a race track, river, or cliff edge).

The spline itself is implemented in C++, but I've provided a Blueprint that inherits the C++ class for easier customizability as required.

nice plugin, just what the unreal marketplace requires, though its even better finding it here.

Yeah, the big problems I have with Unreal Marketplace (among others) is:

  • I can't give stuff away for free on there
  • They take a 30% cut
  • Everything has to be vetted, which takes months
  • I can't license it under my own terms
  • I can't do a free/lite version and full/paid versions on the same page

So, I just put all my stuff on itch.io these days, it's the only online store that appears to have been built with any sense when it comes to sellers.
