PDF Goblin is a lightweight, browser-based PDF editor, built because I'm sick and tired of the enshittification of a million similar tools that paywall you at the end.

I guarantee that if you search for "free PDF editor", click one of the first three results, upload your doc and try to save it, you'll run into a roadblock.

I don't want an enterprise document workflow platform. I don't want to create an account. I don't want a free trial. I don't want to upload sensitive documents to somebody else's server. And I definitely don't want to discover a paywall after I've already finished editing my own PDF.

PDF Goblin runs entirely inside your browser. Your PDFs are processed locally on your own computer. They are never uploaded to my servers because there aren't any servers involved. Whatever you're doing, if you're signing an employment contract, filling in government forms, editing invoices, or working with confidential documents, your files stay where they belong: on your machine.

PDF Goblin is open-source software released under the permissive MIT License. It is completely free for both personal and commercial use. If it saves you from paying for a subscription just to sign a PDF, then it's already done its job.
